Advanced Systems Safety for Practitioners
This 5-day course has been developed by system safety practitioners for system safety practitioners. It covers the Functional Hazard Analysis process and other advanced hazard identification, and analysis techniques system safety practitioners need to be able to apply when working on safety programs. The course is appropriate for safety engineers working on projects in rail, commercial aviation and shipping, space, oil and gas, nuclear, and renewable energy. The course is assessed and students who pass are eligible for post-graduate accreditation.
Introduction to Systems Safety in the Defence Maritime Domain
This 5-day course is the perfect introduction to Systems Safety in the Defence Maritime Domain. The course covers the fundamentals of seaworthiness, Class Rules, the Australian legislative context, deriving safety requirements, contract deliverables, Safety Program Planning, and provides an overview of the techniques and activities to conduct preliminary and detailed hazard analysis to support generating safety artefacts to build a case for safety and seaworthiness. The course is assessed and students who pass are eligible for post-graduate accreditation.
